Texnology® R280 Wet Rubbing Fastness Improver contains no formaldehyde and no APEO – it is an eco‑friendly product. Use it for after‑treatment fixation on cellulosic fibers. It greatly improves wet rubbing fastness by 1–2 grades. It is easy to use: just dilute it directly with water. It leaves a soft hand feel on fabric and can be used in the same bath with silicone oil.
The exact method depends on the dye type and concentration, as well as the fabric type and structure. Use one of the following methods.
Dosage: Texnology® R280 – 3–6% o.w.f. (adjust based on color depth)
Liquor ratio: 1:10 – 1:20
Process:
Take the dyed fabric (pH ≤ 7). Then immerse it at room temperature for 15–30 minutes. Finally, dry the fabric.
Dosage: Texnology® R280 – 30–50 g/L
Process:
Take the dyed fabric (pH ≤ 7). Pad it with one dip and one nip. Keep the wet pick-up at 80–85%. Then dry the fabric.
