First, dilute ZJ‑M380 with twice its weight of cold water. Then add it to a bath that contains acetic acid.
We recommend that you adjust the bath pH to about 4.0–5.0 using 1–2 ml/L of 60% acetic acid. After that, add the diluted dispersion. If needed, filter it through a strainer.
Recommended amount: 40–100 g/L of ZJ‑M380
pH of the bath: About 4.0–5.0
Wet pickup: About 40–80% (depends on fiber type and fabric structure)
Bath temperature: About 20–25°C
Drying temperature: 110–130°C
Stepwise curing: 150°C for 5 minutes (on a curing machine)
Or fast curing: 110–170°C for 45–60 seconds (on a tenter frame)
Amount of FCB0562: 20–80 g/L
pH of the solution: 4–5 (adjust with acetic acid)
Wet pickup: About 70% (depends on fiber type)
Solution temperature: About 20°C
Drying temperature: 110–130°C
Curing conditions:
On a curing machine: 150°C for 3–5 minutes (depends on fiber type)
On a tenter frame (fast curing): 170°C for 1 minute (depends on fiber type)
Amount of FCB0562: 50–100 g/L
Amount of ZJ-AFF: 10–20 g/L
Thickener: 0.8–1.5%
Process: Apply coating, then cure at 170°C for 2 minutes.
It gives excellent water repellency. It protects against rain and prevents spills from wetting clothes.
It has great running stability. It produces very little foam and causes almost no roller sticking. So production runs smoothly.
It has outstanding wash durability (the fabric needs a post-wash drying step). After washing, clothes still offer good protection without ironing.
It does a great job against water‑based stains. You can easily clean local spots on the garment.
You can use it with a synergist to get even better water resistance.
