Application Methods

Padding Method

Recommended Dosage (Pad-Dry-Cure Method): Texnology®FCB058: 15-80g/L

Finishing Method: Typically used in pad-dry-cure, but also suitable for exhaust methods.

Bath pH: 4-5 (adjusted with acetic acid)

Pick-up Rate: 70% (depending on fiber type)

Bath Temperature: Approximately 20℃

Drying Temperature: 110-130℃

Curing Conditions:

    • Batch curing: 150℃for 3-5 minutes (depending on fiber type)
    • Continuous curing: 170℃for 1 minute (depending on fiber type)

 

Recommended Formulations

100% Cotton Processing

    • 0-1ml/L Acetic Acid (60%)
    • 30-80g/L texnology®FCB058
    • Pad →Dry (110℃-130℃) →Cure (150℃ for 3 minutes or 170℃-180℃ for 40-30 seconds)

100% Polyester or 100% Nylon

    • 0-1ml/L Acetic Acid (60%)
    • 20-60g/L texnology®FCB058

 

Noted: Water and oil repellency may be affected by residual impurities on the fabric, such as fiber lubricants, sizing agents, surfactants in textile chemicals, and dyeing auxiliaries. The use of silicone-based softeners or other silicone-containing agents may also have an impact. Therefore, it is recommended to pre-clean the fabric and neutralize it with acetic acid before finishing.
