Texnology® M380 Fluorine-Free Water Repellent gives excellent water repellency, resists rain well, protects clothes from spills, offers good running stability with very little foam and almost no roller sticking so production moves smoothly, delivers outstanding wash durability (after washing and drying) so clothes do not need ironing to keep good protection, also provides excellent resistance to water-based stains for easy local cleaning, and finally can be used with an extender to boost durability even further.
You can apply this product using a padding process.
First, dilute ZJ‑M380 with twice its amount of cold water. Then add it to a bath that contains acetic acid.
We recommend adjusting the bath pH with 1–2 ml/l of 60% acetic acid. After that, add the diluted dispersion. If needed, run it through a filter.
Recommended dosage: 40–100 g/L of ZJ‑M380
Bath pH: about 4.0–5.0
Pick‑up rate: about 40–80% – depends on fiber type and fabric structure
Bath temperature: about 20–25°C
Drying temperature: 110–130°C
Step‑wise curing: 150°C for 5 minutes (using a curing oven)
Or fast curing: 110–170°C for 45–60 seconds (using a tenter frame)
