Texnology®RH98 Polyester Dyeing Auxiliary (Alkali Dyeing System)

Texnology®RH98 is a polyester dyeing agent, which is specialty auxiliary for alkaline dyeing of polyester and its blended fabrics. It reduces overall dyeing costs while eliminating common defects (e.g., dye spots, specks, unevenness) caused by oligomer contamination in traditional acid dyeing. Fabrics dyed with this alkaline system exhibit purer color tones, softer handfeel, and better environmental compliance compared to conventional acid dyeing.

Application Methods

‌Dyeing Processes‌ (Optimize parameters based on fabric type)

‌Scouring/Dyeing One-Bath for Pure Polyester‌:

 

Texnology®RH98: 1.5–2 g/L

Alkali-resistant disperse dye: X% (o.w.f.)

Post-dyeing: Hot wash (90°C) → cold overflow rinse

 

Light/Medium Shades for Polyester/Cotton Knits (Omit Bleaching)‌:

Texnology®RH98: 1.5–2 g/L

H₂O₂: 4–6 g/L (add dye 5 mins after H₂O₂)

Alkali-resistant disperse dye: X% (o.w.f.)

Post-dyeing: Hot wash (90°C) → cold overflow rinse

 

‌Dark Shades for Polyester/Cotton Blends‌:

Texnology®RH98: 1.5–2 g/L

Alkali-resistant disperse dye: X% (o.w.f.)

Post-dyeing: Anti-staining soap (2–3 g/L) to remove unfixed dyes

Product Details

pH Stabilization‌: Maintains dye bath pH at ~9 (measured by pH meter) throughout the process, preventing polyester oligomer deposition (90+% removal rate) and associated defects like white powder or speckles.‌Process Simplification‌: For polyester/cotton blends, enables combined scouring/dyeing in one bath, eliminating pre-bleaching and reducing water/energy consumption.‌Leveling & Dispersion‌: Compensates for uneven pretreatment, allows omission of acid washing for T/C or T/R fabrics, and supports combined pretreatment/dyeing processes.‌Color Enhancement‌: Produces brighter shades than acid dyeing, with superior dispersion/leveling and minimal batch-to-batch variation (higher first-time success rate).‌Energy Savings‌: Shortens dyeing cycles, reduces reduction cleaning, decreases equipment cleaning frequency, and lowers utility costs (water/steam/electricity).‌Water Conservation‌: Minimizes pre- and post-dyeing rinses.‌Softening Effect‌: Eliminates need for anti-creasing agents during dyeing while delivering softer, smoother handfeel and easier post-dyeing rinsing.
